Mouse Rug® dimensions - approximate final size: 18 x 26 cm (including fringes) and 0.4 cm thick.This Northwest Persian masterpiece features a large central medallion and four quarter medallions on an intricate red field. The medallions are bordered with an ornamental border that seems to derive from Chinese cloud motifs with split-leaf designs (Rumi) in the field. The large carpet is in a variety of colours: Red, orange, mustard yellow, dark purple, light dark blue, medium blue, dark green, medium green, dyed mustard yellow and white. The weft threads are made of dark red wool and the selvages are original.
